Condor — official cabin limits
| Allowance | Max dimensions (cm — the airline's own figure) Second line: our conversion | Max weight |
|---|---|---|
| Free personal item | 40 × 30 × 15 cm≈ 15.7 × 11.8 × 5.9 in | Not stated |
| Carry-on | 55 × 40 × 23 cm≈ 21.6 × 15.7 × 9.0 in | 8 kg≈ 17 lb |
How to read these numbers — Condor publishes these limits in centimetres. The inch figures are our own conversion, always rounded down, never up. Airlines that print both units often print two figures that don't agree with each other — sometimes looser, sometimes stricter. When they disagree we go by the airline's own unit and round the other one down. Packing to our number keeps you inside the real limit.
What to expect
Condor lets you take a small bag of 40 × 30 × 15 cm free on every flight, plus a cabin suitcase of 55 × 40 × 23 cm that is included depending on your fare. The dimensions are always the same, but the weight allowance and number of pieces change with the fare and route: the cabin suitcase can weigh up to 8 kg on the lightest fares and 10 kg or 16 kg on higher ones. Small bags go under the seat, the suitcase in the overhead locker.
Soft bag vs hard case
With Condor the size is fixed but the allowance is not: the same 55 × 40 × 23 cm suitcase may be included or paid, and its weight cap shifts between 8, 10 and 16 kg with your fare and route. Pack the suitcase to 8 kg and you are safe on any fare that includes it. In an exit row or Business Class you must stow all hand baggage in the overhead locker rather than under the seat.

- In exit rows, behind cabin partitions and in Business Class, all hand baggage must go in the overhead locker.
